I've worked with animals since I was sixteen. I remember becoming obsessed with them at a very young age. Initially I thought I wanted to be a vet but after working in a veterinary practice that quickly changed. My love and passion for animals was far too strong to handle the devastation of working in that environment. I've also worked in Cattery's, kennels and re-homing shelters and studied animal management - leaving college with a double distinction extended diploma. When it comes to dogs I find it fascinating how they each have their own little personality and I love getting to know each one individually and learning what they love and what enables them to flourish. It's amazing how trusting these animals are how much they give back. I've suffered with anxiety and panic attacks from a young age and found that running my own business, doing what I absolutely adore has enabled me to turn my life around and thrive. I started the business in 2014 formally known as 'Kate's Animal Care'. In 2015 I employed my first employee, which was the lovely Rose. Rose and I quickly became the best of friends and after 9 successful years with her by my side I asked her to become my business partner - This was when WillyBobs Dogs was born.  We are so passionate about what we do - this business we have created is our pride and joy and I just hope that shines through in everything we do :)

Rose

Director of WillyBobs Dogs 

I’ve worked with dogs for over 15 years now, and 12 of those have been here at WillyBobs. This business truly is my passion — I’m so proud of what we’ve built and so excited for everything still to come.

Spending my days surrounded by dogs is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I grew up in a real “doggy” family, so caring for, understanding and loving dogs has always been second nature to me. They’ve shaped my life in so many ways, and being able to turn that lifelong love into a career feels incredibly special.

I’m a mum to my amazing son, who is growing up just like I did — surrounded by wagging tails, muddy paws and unconditional love. Watching him build his own bond with dogs is something that means the world to me.

At WillyBobs, every dog is treated as if they were my own. Their safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. Creating a place where dogs feel secure, stimulated and genuinely loved isn’t just my job — it’s my purpose.

I feel so lucky to do what I do every single day, and I can’t wait to welcome your dogs into our extended WillyBobs family.

Erin

Doggy Daycare Assistant

Erin has always had a huge passion for dogs and a natural instinct for caring for them. A proud rescue dog mum to two crazy pups (who definitely keep her on her toes!) and a lovely little girl at home, her life truly revolves around family — both human and canine.

Growing up, Erin always dreamed of becoming a vet. But she quickly realised that while she wanted to help animals, she didn’t have the heart for the sad parts — what she really wanted was to spend her days bringing joy, fun and enrichment into dogs’ lives. That’s exactly why daycare is the perfect fit for her.

She absolutely loves being outdoors, getting stuck in, and making sure every dog in her care is having the best day possible. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, enrichment activities or muddy adventures, Erin is always right in the middle of the action.

Her energy, kindness and genuine love for dogs make her such a valued part of the WillyBobs family — and the dogs adore her just as much as she adores them.
